Courtesy Visit from the Rector of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca
On May 8, 2025, our university welcomed a distinguished visit from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (Romania).? Dr. Topa Vasile, Rector, and Dr. Adrian Groza, Vice-Rector for IT Infrastructure and Digitalization, met with President Yasuki Ishizaki and Dean Tsuneaki Ishima of the School of Science and Technology.
Building upon the interfaculty agreement established in 2023 between the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and our School of Science and Technology, the meeting provided an opportunity to explore potential collaborations.? Key discussion points included the exchange of doctoral students and joint research projects with private sector partners.? A fruitful exchange of ideas regarding the advancement of educational and research initiatives across multiple disciplines took place.
